Description
Bathampton Lodge is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with a late 18th century wing on the left (east) and a mid to late 19th century wing on the west. The building is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a double Roman tiled and slate mansard roof, along with an ashlar stack. It has two storeys and attics with modern dormers, and the façade consists of three bays. The windows are three-light casements with chamfered mullions, set beneath a continuous string course or drip mould on the first floor. There is a blocked central door, while the left (east) wing is made of coursed rubble and has a six-panel door to the right, which is sheltered by a canopied lattice porch. The west wing is noted as not being of special interest.
