House in row. c1770 (lease of No. 9 dated 16.11.1774). MATERIALS: limestone ashlar, slate roof. EXTERIOR: Small property with mansard roof hipped to right, access way with steps to lower level. Two storeys, attic and basement, single window front, two-light small pane casement dormer above sixteen-pane sashes, with six-panel door, left. Continuous wooden plate or lintel across ground floor. Cavetto cornice, blocking course and parapet, coped party division to left, and large lateral ridge stack, and straight joint between this property and the adjoining one. Right return drops to basement level, with C20 door and window to wooden lintel, plain string above, with raised central apron. Rear, formerly appears to have continued to another property, rendered, some small openings. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
