Description

Nelson Villas comprises a pair of early 19th-century houses located on the north side of Weston. The buildings were possibly remodelled from an earlier structure. They are constructed of painted roughcast with a continuous slate roof, featuring moulded stacks at the coped ends and a central ridge. The exterior presents an irregular three-window range, with No.1 on the left displaying a two-window range, now with 20th-century windows and a door on the left side. No.2 has a single-window range, incorporating chamfered architraves to its six/six-pane sash windows. A 20th-century porch and door, likely reusing a former segmental hood, are located to the left of the stack. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
