Description
These are three terrace houses, built in the mid-19th century, set back from the High Street to the right of Belton House. The houses are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with rusticated freestone architraves, and have a hipped slate roof with moulded stacks on the party walls. Each house has a double-depth plan and a single-window front. The upper windows are twelve-pane sashes, and the lower windows are six-pane sashes. Number 80, in the centre, has a six-panel door with glazed central panels; the doors of the other houses are 20th-century replacements. The interiors have not been inspected. These houses were originally part of a larger brewery complex, and the owner lived in Belton House.
