Description

A pair of houses, originally dating from the 18th century and extended in the 19th century. The houses are constructed of rubble stone with stone slate roofs and brick and stone stacks. The first house, Weston, is a single storey with attics. It features a brick gabled porch with a tiled roof and a ledged door. The front has three casement windows with glazing bars, set beneath stone arches. Three pent-roofed dormers are visible in the attic, each with a casement window matching those below. A 19th-century extension at the left end incorporates a sash window on the ground floor and another under the eaves. A circular bow window with sash windows is present at the south gable, with a plain sash window above. Weston Cottage, which is single-storey with a basement, has a ledged door and three casement windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. Two similar windows are located in the basement. Stone boundary walls run along the east and south sides of the property.
