Description
Worth House is a former vicarage, now a private house, built in the mid-19th century. It features rubble stone walls, stone slate roofs, and brick stacks with moulded stone caps. The building has an irregular plan and stands two storeys high with attics. The entrance front includes a projecting gabled wing on the left, which has a 2-light stone mullioned window with sashes on each floor. There is a shield set in a recess in the gable. To the right of this wing is the entrance doorway, which has a depressed four-centred arch and a ledged door. The ground floor features a 3-light stone mullioned window with sashes, while the first floor has two similar windows, one with two lights and another with one light. The attic includes one gabled dormer with casements.
