Description

This is a cast iron milepost sign located on the north side of Upper Bristol Road, near Cork Place. The sign is mounted on a limestone post that stands approximately 1.25 meters high. The cast iron panel features raised lettering that reads "I Mile from the Guildhall BATH." This milepost is part of a series of similar mileposts that were erected around the outskirts of the city.
