Description
No. 8 Park Lane is a house built in the early 19th century, with later alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of limestone ashlar, and the roof is not visible. The house has a narrow double-depth plan with the entrance located on the right side.
The exterior features three storeys and two windows. On the ground floor, there is a six-panel door with a keyed surround and two two-over-two sash windows. A platband runs along the first floor, which has a blind window above the door and a late 19th-century oriel window inserted to the left. The second floor contains two modern timber casement windows. The building is finished with a listel, cornice, and parapet, and there is an ashlar stack on the left side. The north wall displays a double gable and rubble.
Attached to the north side is a coach house with a double door, a 20th-century two-over-one-pane window above, and a lean-to roof covered with triple Roman tiles. The rear elevation has not been inspected.
