Description

The entrance gates and piers to St Michael's Cemetery were built around 1865 and are designed in the Gothic Revival style. They are made of Bath limestone ashlar and wrought iron. The square gate-piers feature chamfered corners and caps with small gables on each face. The side gates, main gates, and a section of railings are all crafted from decorative wrought iron. This structure is included for its group value.
