Description

This is a milepost from the mid-18th century, made of cast iron. It features a rectangular pillar that stands approximately 1 metre high, with a moulded half hipped top and a moulded plinth. The raised letters on the milepost indicate the distance to Bath, reading "BATH 9 MILES."
