Description

The building is an office that adjoins the St John's Ambulance Headquarters. It was originally three mews buildings, dating from the early 19th century, with 20th-century additions. The materials used include painted limestone rubble and render, and each section has a hipped double Roman tile roof.

The exterior features two storeys and a two-window range. The block on the left has a 20th-century wooden external shutter over a six/nine-pane sash window at eaves level, which likely served as a former loading bay. The ground floor has a fascia above a 20th-century half-glazed timber infill. The central block has no windows on the first floor, with a higher fascia above a six-pane overlight leading to a 20th-century six-panel door on the left and a six/nine-pane sash window on the right. The right-hand block has a 20th-century full-height timber infill on the left, with paired six-pane windows on each floor, and to the right, there are traces of a blocked door with a three-pane overlight remaining. The interior has not been inspected.
