Description

The building known as the TV Servicing Co and Whychcraft Cafe consists of a house and three shops, with the front range dating from the 18th century and the L-wing likely from the late 16th century. The front range is constructed of painted brick and features a roof covered with Horsham stone slabs, topped by an off-center brick multiple chimneystack. It is two stories tall with attics and has three windows, which are sashes with marginal glazing bars set in moulded architraves. There is a 20th-century bow window on the ground floor. The north elevation has curved tiles on the gable and a 19th-century lean-to porch.

The L-wing is timber-framed but was refaced in the 19th century, with the ground floor made of red brick and the first floor plastered to imitate masonry with incised lines. It has a tiled roof with an end cruciform-shaped chimneystack and is two stories tall, but lower in elevation than the front range. The first floor features a four-light casement window, while the ground floor has a tripartite sash window. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a wooden bressummer, a sandstone and brick hearth, and exposed floor joists.
