Description
The premises occupied by A W Knight Ironmongers is a house and shop, likely dating from the 16th century. It is a timber-framed building with two storeys, featuring square framing and panels that are infilled with plaster. The ground floor is finished in painted brick, while the side elevations are tile hung. The building has a tiled roof and includes three windows with 19th-century casements. The shop front has 20th-century windows and a doorcase topped with a flat wooden hood. A large brown brick chimney stack is also present. Inside, there is a large chamfered spine beam.
