Description

33 Borough Street is an early 19th century house, originally with an ironmonger’s shop. It has a late 19th century shop front. The building is constructed of rendered brick, whitewashed to the front, with a moulded wooden eaves cornice, a 20th century tile roof, and brick chimneys on either side. It is three storeys high and has three bays. The second floor has three 6-pane sashes. The first floor has 6-pane sashes in the outer bays, with an additional sash in the central bay. The ground floor features a large shop window to the left and a double-fronted shop window with a central door to the right, both with a moulded wooden cornice resting on brackets.
