Description

Euroclass House, formerly known as No 15, Commercial House, is a former house now used as offices. It dates from the late 18th century, with the ground floor rebuilt in the 20th century. The building is constructed of pale red brick with rendered dressings and features a hipped slate roof with flanking brick chimneys. It stands three storeys tall and has three bays, with the central bay slightly advanced and topped with a pediment.

There is a band course at the first floor level, along with sill strings and a moulded cornice that includes modillions and a blocking course. The ground floor has 20th-century barred wooden cross casements, while the outer bays of the first floor feature three-pane sashes, and the second floor has late 19th-century sashes. The lower windows have rendered wedge lintels. The windows in the central bay are framed with rendered architrave surrounds, with the first floor showcasing paired wooden casements and a top-light, fluted frieze, paterae, and a moulded pediment.

The central entrance has 20th-century double doors set in a simple wooden surround with pilasters, an architrave, and a cornice. The rear of the building has dentil eaves and three bays of irregular sashes. The original boxed three-pane sashes on the first and second floors have voussoir heads with triple keyblocks. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with an intersecting semi-circular fanlight, all within a fine rusticated surround topped with an open pediment on shaped scroll brackets. To the right, there is a single-storey range from the 19th to 20th centuries that projects from the main building.
