Description
Heathfield House and Kingswood Chemists is a house and shop dating from the mid-19th century. It features a stucco exterior and a slate roof, rising three storeys above a basement. The building has three windows, primarily 16-pane sashes, with the two outer windows being splayed. Fluted pilasters run through the first and second floors, and there is a band between the ground and first floors. The right-hand shop front, also from the mid-19th century, includes a triple arched shop window. The doorcase has a semi-circular fanlight and a four-panelled door, accessed by six stone steps. To the left, there is a tripartite window with verticals only and iron spear railings enclosing the area. This building is an important corner structure.
