Description

Diamond House North Rising is a group of three cottages, with the center one now functioning as a shop. The buildings date from the early 19th century and feature a facade of grey header bond brickwork accented with red brick dressings, topped by a slate roof. They are two stories tall with attics and have four windows. The windows are sashes with gauged brick heads; the first floor includes two 16-pane sashes and two without glazing bars. The ground floor has been altered, featuring three round-headed doorcases. Number 7 has two later square bay windows, while Number 8 has a late 19th-century shop front. The cottages are included for their group value.
