ST JOHN'S STREET 1. 972 (East Side) No 8 SU 8604 NW 4/192 5.7.50. II 2. Late C18. 3 storeys and basement; 3 window bays and annexe to South with lean-to-roof of 2 storeys. 2 window bays. Red brick. Small brick dentilled eaves cornice to Northern 3 storeyed part. Sash windows in reveals with glazing bars intact; painted brick voussoirs. Doorway at Northern end; 6 panel moulded door with semi-circular fanlight with tracery over; door in panelled reveals; semi-circular arched doorway. Doorcase with engaged Doric columns on low plinths, rectangular pediment with modillions.
