Description

The Corn Exchange, built in 1830, is a notable structure located on East Street. It features a narthex that extends across the pavement, supported by six fluted Greek Doric columns. These columns hold up an entablature that includes a moulded frieze, cornice, and pediment. Additionally, there are four engaged columns and two pilasters positioned behind the arcade. The frieze and cornice continue southward along both the eastern and western sides of the building.
