Description

No. 30 South Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features three window bays. It has a hipped slate roof and a small painted brick cornice with dentils just below the eaves. The front is made of painted brick, and the sash windows are set in reveals with flat arches, showcasing painted brick voussoirs and intact glazing bars. The ground floor is occupied by the northern section of a 20th-century showroom, which includes a very large plate-glass window.
