Description
No. 17 is a probably late 18th century house, with later alterations, situated at a right angle to Limmer Lane in Felpham. It is constructed of stucco with a brick modillion eaves cornice and has a hipped tiled roof. The south elevation, facing the road, features two sash windows and a two-storey three-light bay, all with sashes, the top left window having glazing bars. A central round-headed doorway is adorned with a tripartite fan, leading to a three-panel door with a glazed top panel. The west front has four sash windows above, the left one blind, and the two right windows with glazing bars. Below are a door and three irregularly spaced windows; the right-hand window is a sash with glazing bars, while the others are modern. Flint walls are situated alongside the road at the south end of the property.
