Description

This is a roadside garden wall with an archway that connects it to Blake's Cottage, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. The wall is made of coursed flint cobblestones with orangey-red brick quoins and stands approximately 1.5 metres high with a rounded top. It features quoins at both ends and flanking a near-central pedestrian entrance. At the left end, there is a later flint-cobblestone wall that rises over a round archway, linking the roadside wall to the house. This wall is a characteristic example of flint and brick construction associated with a grade II* listed cottage.
