Description

Blake's Cottage is a 17th-century building that has been altered and features two storeys with three windows. The front is covered with roughcast and whitewashed, while the back and side walls are made of Bognor stone, flint cobbles, and red brick. The cottage has a thatched roof with a pentice at the back. The first floor has sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing, and there are modern windows on the ground floor. Notably, the poet William Blake lived here from 1800 to 1803.
