Description
13-15 South Terrace is a late 18th and early 19th century building of three storeys with an attic and basement, originally designed with two windows and two dormers each. The building was initially constructed of red brick with grey brick headers and yellow brick dressings, including quoins and a distinctive trillion cornice, topped with a parapet of red brick and grey headers. Number 13 has painted ground and first floors, while number 14 is entirely stuccoed with a moulded cornice, and number 15 is entirely painted. The windows are mostly sash windows with glazing bars, although those on the first floor of number 13 have partial glazing. Ground floor windows have boxed heads with decorative fringes. The doorways feature rectangular fanlights and panelled reveals and soffits, with six-panel moulded doors at numbers 14 and 15. The building forms a group with numbers 3-20 South Terrace and the East Garden Wall of number 3.
