Description

31A Western Road is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Western Road. It stands three stories tall and features two windows. The exterior is constructed of brick with grey headers, and the windows have cambered heads with glazing bar sashes. There is a cement cove at the eaves, and dormer windows are present in the slate roof. At the rear, the building is faced with pebbles and has brick dressings, quoins, and a modillion eaves cornice. The rear includes one window with glazing bars and cambered heads, a sash on the first floor, and a casement on the second floor. There is also a tall bricked-in window on the right-hand side.
