Description
31 Maltravers Street is an early 18th-century building with a late 18th-century front to the north. It features grey brick headers with red brick dressings and has a hipped tile roof along with red brick chimneys. The building stands two storeys high with attics and includes a deep stucco frieze beneath a coved stucco cornice and blocking course. There are three ranges of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and two attic dormers fitted with modern windows. The entrance door has fielded panels, plain reveals, a moulded surround, and a pediment supported by consoles. This property, along with Nos 3 to 31 (odd) and the Little House, forms a group with Nos 1, 2, and 6 Bakers Arms Hill.
