Description

This is a late 18th century building, likely dating from 1792 or 1793, constructed of red brick with a slate roof and red brick chimneys. It is three storeys high and features a brick cornice with modillion decoration along the eaves. The front facade has three ranges of double-hung sash windows, each with glazing bars. A six-panelled door, located in the west range, is topped by a semi-circular fanlight and surrounded by plain brick concentric arches. A porch was added in the 1930s, though it is now removed. A two-storey wing extends to the west, featuring a slate lean-to roof with ashlar coping, and contains double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and a four-panelled door. This building is part of a group relating to numbers 3 to 31 (odd) and the Little House, and also numbers 1, 2 & 6 Bakers Arms Hill.
