Description
No. 5 Maltravers Street is an early 19th-century building that was formerly a bakery. It is constructed of stucco and features a pitched slate roof. The building has two storeys. On the first floor, there are two segment-headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor includes one door set in a plain deep reveal and a canted bay shopfront with glazing bars supported on brackets. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 3 to 31 (odd) and the Little House, along with Nos. 1, 2, and 6 Bakers Arms Hill.
