Description
The stables to No 15, built in the late 18th century, are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped slate roof. The building is one storey high with attics and has a brick modillion eaves cornice. It consists of three bays, with the central bay projecting forward and topped with a modillioned brick pediment.
The east bay, which is partly hidden by a two-storey wing of the main house, includes one double-hung sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor and one round-arched panel filled with grey headers on the first floor. The central bay features one segment-headed coach door with modern doors and one round-arched planked loft door on the first floor. The west bay has one modern garage opening and one six-panelled door with an oblong fanlight on the ground floor, along with one round-arched panel filled with grey headers on the first floor.
The stables are part of a group that includes Nos 3 to 31 (odd) and the Little House, along with Nos 1, 2, and 6 Bakers Arms Hill.
