Description

55A Upper Bognor Road is an early 19th-century former lodge located alongside the road, with its main east end facing the entrance of the drive. The building features two windows in the upper storey and three in the lower storey, all with glazing bars. The lower windows are framed by four piers. The exterior is finished with stucco, and there is a wooden modillion eaves cornice that forms a pediment on the east gable. This lodge is part of a group that includes Nos 41 to 57 (odd) and Nos 65 to 71 (odd), along with all the surrounding walls.
