Description
Cobblestones is a house located on the north side of St Mary's Road in Shoreham-by-Sea. It dates from the 18th century and was altered in the 19th century. The building features coursed and random cobblestone construction with red brick dressings. The ground floor on the right side of the road front is rendered. It has plain tiled roofs with a parallel ridge and a strut doorcase on the east front. There are stacks at the rear on the left side. The house is two storeys on the left with a one and a half storey wing to the right. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows, with an additional window on the right side, which is flanked by a semi-dormer. The entrance is located on the ground floor between the first and second windows from the left. The south front features jettied gables with a shallow bressumer. There is also a hipped one-storey extension to the left.
