Description

This barn, located 15 yards south of Scotchers Farm House, dates from the 16th century and features an early 19th-century roof. It is timber framed and has weatherboard cladding topped with a slate roof. The barn is rectangular and consists of five bays, with a 19th-century addition on the right. The front has aisles and central opposing projecting carriage entrances. Inside, there are queen strut trusses with bracing to the aisle posts.
