Description

The Cottage is an 18th-century timber-frame cottage with whitewashed brick infill and tile hanging above, all under a plain tiled, half-hipped roof. It has a large, truncated, offset stack to the right. The ground floor has two casement windows, while the first floor has four; all windows are C19 casements. A stable-style door sits to the left of centre, sheltered by an open pentice roof porch supported by wooden posts. A framed-out shot is located at the left end.
