Description
Fanesbridge Cottage is a house dating from the mid-16th century, with 20th-century extensions at both ends. It features a timber frame with a brick underbuild and brick infill above. The roof is plain tiled, with Horsham slabs at the eaves, hipped and with a gablet on the right side. The cottage is two storeys high and has a corbelled stack located to the left of the centre. The front has three framed bays and arched braces on the first floor to the right. There are four casement windows on the first floor and three windows below. To the left, there is a studded door set in an arched, four-centre head, which has carving in the spandrels. The rear of the cottage has exposed framing, irregular window placements, and a tile-hung gable end on the left.
