Description
The Old Post Office is a house that dates from the 17th century and early 18th century, with an extension added in the 20th century. It is constructed of red and blue brick and features a plain tiled roof, which is partly machine tiled and hipped. The building has two storeys, with an offset end stack on the right and a ridge stack to the left of the centre. There is a plat band above the ground floor.
On the first floor, there are four leaded casement windows, while the ground floor windows have blue headers with arches above them. To the right of centre, there is a 20th-century panelled door with the top two panels glazed, which is sheltered by a semi-circular hood supported by a trellis frame.
