Description
Rushetts is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It is timber framed and has been underbuilt in red brick on a sandstone plinth, with brick extensions on both the left and right sides. The exposed frame features whitewashed infill, and the first floor ends are also whitewashed brick. The roof is plain tiled and hipped to the left. The house has two storeys and three framed bays with arched bracing, and there is a stack located to the left of center. On the first floor, there are four leaded windows, while the ground floor has five windows. A planked door, set in 20th-century brick, is positioned to the right of center and is sheltered by a gabled porch. Inside, the frame is exposed, and there are deep brick fireplaces.
