Description
This is a 17th-century barn located to the northeast of High Loxley House. It features a timber frame set on a plinth made of sandstone rubble and brick, with weatherboard cladding above. The barn has a plain tiled hipped roof, which includes gablets and extends in a catslide to the right end. It consists of five framed bays and has central opposing entrances, along with the remains of a threshing platform. The structure includes braced wall posts supporting a Queen strut roof with through-purlins. This barn is part of an unspoilt farm group.
