Description
Watlands is a 17th-century house located on High Street Green in Chiddingfold. It features a square panel timber frame with brick infill and fishscale tile hanging above the wings. The house has plain tile roofs with ridge stacks positioned off centre to the left and in the right-hand angle. It is two storeys high and has leaded casements, with three on the ground floor and a first-floor window on the right that has wooden mullions. There is a plank door leading to the lobby entrance, which is left of centre and situated under a late 19th-century tiled gable porch hood supported by brackets. The house has projecting 19th-century wings at both ends.
