Description

Frome Cottage is a 16th-century timber-frame building. The main structure has square panels with whitewashed brick infill, and the front is covered with tiles. It has a plain tile roof and a ridge stack on the left. The cottage is two storeys high, with a single-storey catslide roof at the left end. It features leaded casement windows, three on each floor, and a centrally-placed plank front door sheltered by a 20th-century half-timbered gabled porch supported on wooden posts. A 19th-century brick and tile-hung wing projects from the right-hand side.
