Description
Wynchfield is a house dating from the 16th century, with a 19th-century front. It features a timber frame covered in brick, with fishscale tile hanging above, and has a plain tile roof that has a half hip at the right end and two ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high, with a projecting gable front to the left and a one-bay wing to the right. The front has 19th-century casement windows and a 20th-century porch made of tile and brick located at the angle of the wings. The rear displays exposed timber framing, along with a 20th-century timber frame outshot to the right. Inside, there is a deep brick fireplace with a timber lintel.
