Description
Fisher Lane Farm House is a Grade II listed building located in Chiddingfold. Originally built as two houses in the 16th century, it has been combined into one and features 19th-century additions. The structure is timber framed with brick and rendered infill, and it has fishscale tile hanging above. The roofs are plain tiles with a mix of gable and hipped designs. The house has two storeys and an attic, with tile-hung gable dormers. The projecting gable front facing the road has three storeys, with jettied first and second floors, and one casement window on each floor. There is a wing at the rear that is set at right angles to the main house. The left side of the return front has two windows on the first floor and a single-storey catslide to the right. A 19th-century plank door is located under a gable porch supported by wooden posts. There is also a further one-bay wing behind, featuring a tiled dormer above a triple-light casement and a plank door at the left end. The cross wing at the rear has elevations that match the main house.
