Description
Wyphurst Home Farm House is a 16th-century house located on Barhatch Lane in Cranleigh. The building features a timber frame with brick dressed sandstone block and galleted cladding, along with brick cladding on the left side and 20th-century extensions that include galleted sandstone and brick. The roof is plain tiled and hipped with end gablets. The house has two storeys and a ridge stack positioned to the right of the center, topped with a corbelled feature. There is a plat band above the ground floor on the right and center. The first floor has a leaded casement window on the left, a cambered head diamond pane window to the left of center, and two windows on the ground floor. A half-hipped projecting extension on the right includes one window on the first floor and one on the ground floor, along with a cambered head 20th-century door at the end of the extension. The left-hand return front has one first floor and two ground floor windows. The rear features pentices on both the right and left sides. Inside, the frame is visible, primarily on the ceilings.
