Description

This is a 17th-century barn, now used as a store, located 30 metres south-west of Lower Farm House in Hambledon. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard cladding and a half-hipped roof covered in plain tiles. The barn consists of three framed bays and has central opposing waggon entries, although the entry at the rear is now blocked and has a pentice hood above it. Inside, the roof is constructed with queen-strut and clasped purlin techniques.
