Description

This is an irregular cottage, likely dating from the 16th century. It comprises two unequal bays: a wide, gabled bay to the left and a lower, set-back bay to the right. The construction is timber-framed. The left bay has tile hanging on the first floor and roughcast rendering on the ground floor. The right bay is built of red brick. The windows are casement windows of various dates, ranging from the 18th century to modern times. A plain boarded door provides access. An external chimney is located on the left side, with the lower portion constructed of narrow bricks.
