Description

A building of late 18th century appearance, possibly incorporating an earlier structure, stands on Lower Street. It is two storeys high with three windows, exhibiting wide proportions and an irregular facade. The roof is tiled and hipped on the left side, with a ridge stack that has been partly rebuilt. A wing extends to the back. The building is constructed of painted brick, and the first floor features sash windows that have lost their original bars. The ground floor has two wide, double shop fronts dating to the late 19th century.
