Description

Verity Cottage is a building that appears to date from the 18th century, though it was refaced in the mid-19th century. It is two storeys high and has an irregular facade with five windows on the ground floor and three above. The roof is tiled, with a ridge stack. The exterior is red brick with a decorative pattern of blue headers, and features cambered arches above 19th-century leaded casement windows and one sash window. The left return has a decorative tile hanging in bands above brick plinth, and a 20th-century gabled porch.
