Description

Pylewell Cottage is a two-storey, two-window cottage, likely built in the 18th century. It features random rubble side walls and a front made of diapered red brick with blue headers, which gives it a character typical of the 19th century. There are two former doors that have been blocked. The cottage has a brick dentil cornice and a hipped tiled roof with a central stack. To the right, there is a one-storey extension made of coursed rubble and topped with a tiled roof. At the rear, there is a lean-to. A side entrance is sheltered by a bracketed, gabled hood.
