Description

This early 19th century terrace comprises three buildings, 34, 35, and 36 West Street. The buildings are three storeys high with a basement, constructed of brick laid on a projecting plinth, and feature a moulded eaves cornice. They have slate roofs. Each building has one window and a six-panel door set within a doorcase consisting of an architrave, pilasters, and console brackets supporting a broken cornice and pediment. A round-headed doorway with a round-headed boarded wooden door is located at the right-hand end, between numbers 36 and 37. The buildings are part of a larger group, which includes numbers 18, 37, 43, and 45, as well as all the listed buildings on the south-east side from numbers 19 to 46 (inclusive), and incorporating a wrought iron screen located before Vernon House.
