Description

These are an 18th-century pair of three-storey buildings with a cellar, situated on the south-east side of West Street. They are constructed with colour-washed stucco over a projecting plinth and have boxed eaves. The roof is covered with old tiles. Each building has a single window to the front, featuring four panes within a moulded frame and a stone sill. The front door is surrounded by fluted pilasters, an entablature that projects forward over the pilasters, and a pediment. The upper panels of the door are glazed, and the door has flush panels. The buildings are part of a group which includes numbers 18, 37, 43, 45, and all listed buildings from number 19 to 46, alongside a wrought iron screen located before Vernon House.
