Description
The stable block, which has been partly converted into a cottage, dates from the late 18th century and is located 10 yards behind Pendell House. It features a brick plinth with red and blue brick above, and has an eaves plat band beneath a hipped plain tiled roof, which includes a ridge stack on the left side. The building is two storeys tall with an attic, and has a flat-roofed dormer on the right with a sash window. The first floor has four glazing bar sash windows and one casement window, while the ground floor displays irregular casement fenestration. To the left, there is a glazed door set in a blocked former arched entrance. The central entrance has a panelled door with a transom light above, flanked by double plank doors to the right of centre and a planked door to the right under another blocked arched former entrance.
